John N. Day is senior pastor of Bellewood Presbyterian Church in Bellevue, Washington, where he has served since 1999. He received his Ph.D. in Old Testament from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2001, and is the author of Crying for Justice: What the Psalms Teach Us about Mercy and Vengeance in an Age of Terrorism (Grand Rapids: Kregel, 2005). His interests include music, gardening, and games. He and his wife Lorri have four children and one grandchild.
