Beverly Lanzetta (b. 1947) is an interfaith minister and scholar of interfaith spirituality. Her numerous books include Radical Wisdom (2005) and Emerging Heart (2007). She worked and taught widely, and has founded several religious and monastic initiatives, including the Interfaith Theological Seminary. Lanzetta received her undergraduate education at Shimer College and the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where she completed her degree in botany in 1967. She subsequently obtained a master's degree in sociology from the University of Chicago in 1984, and a Ph.D. from Fordham University in 1988. (from Shimer College Wiki)
