Artur Quintana i Font (Barcelona, 1936) is a Catalan philologist, member of the Philological Section of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans, of the Consello d'a Fabla Aragonesa, honorary member of the Aragonese Language Academy and president of Cultural Initiative of the Strip.
He studied Romance and German studies in Barcelona and Cologne. He was a Catalan and Spanish reader in Cardiff and Freiburg im Breisgau. He received his doctorate in Barcelona with a doctoral thesis on the speech of the Quail. He has published a good number of articles on Aragonese, German and Occitan, he has also made some translations from German.
