Jeanne Robert Foster was an American poet from the Adirondack Mountains. She was born Julia Elizabeth Oliver in Johnsburg, New York. She had also worked as a journalist, literary editor, and social worker. Her play "Marthe" won the Drama League prize in 1926. - Wikipedia
