Anthony Weymouth is a pseudonym of Ivo Geikie Cobb (1887-1953) (https://openlibrary.org/authors/OL2237757A/Ivo_Geikie_Cobb/). Weymouth was a London physician who wrote numerous works that dealt with medicine and disease, several books on historical subjects, an autobiography and also various guides to his home city. His seven mystery novels had a medico-scientific interest – unsurprising given his background – and featured his series detective, Inspector Treadgold of Scotland Yard.
