Walter Friedrich Gustav Hermann Otto

[Deutsch] Walter Friedrich Gustav Hermann Otto (geb. 1874 in Hechingen, Hohenzollernsche Lande; gest. 1958 in Tübingen), meist kurz Walter F. Otto, war ein deutscher Altphilologe. Er ist besonders für seine Arbeiten über Bedeutung und Nachwirkung der griechischen Religion und Mythologie bekannt.

[English] Walter Friedrich Gustav Hermann Otto (b. 1874 in Hechingen; d. 1958 in Tübingen), usually shortened to Walter F. Otto, was a German classical philologist. He is particularly known for his work on the meaning and legacy of Greek religion and mythology.
