Morag Prunty was born in Scotland to Irish parents. At age 21 she became the editor of Looks Magazine. She went on to edit More! Magazine and Just Seventeen Magazine before moving to Ireland to re-launch Irish Tatler. In 1993, her first book, Boys: A User's Guide, was published. In 2001, her first novel, Dancing with Mules, was published. She currently lives in the village of Killala in County Mayo on the west coast of Ireland with her husband and son, and writes full time.
