M. C. Raj

M C Raj is the founder of rural Education for Development Society in Karnataka, India. He leads a Dalit Movement of the untouchable people and has established the first ever Dalit Parliament in history. Being a Dalit himself he has worked on the specific approach of building an oppressed people on their latent strength. Born of illiterate parents he has self-actualized himself into a philosopher and has become a prolific author. He has already 15 published books to his credit. He is an international opinion leader on Dalit issues. He has also successfully registered CDM Project with the UNFCCC in the name of REDS and is spearheading Climate Change discourses. He is heading an international group of campaigners for electoral reforms in India to being about a proportionate representation system in India.
