PROF. DR. Nasuhi Bursal

Prof. Dr. Bursal Nasuhi was born in Istanbul on 01.28.1923. German School in Istanbul in 1942 after graduating from IU in 1944 and entered Faculty of Economics, and graduated in 1948. Go to Zürich University Professor in the same year. Dr. Bursal, Income Tax in Turkey as his doctoral studies on the subject, given at the end of 1952 with his doctoral thesis and oral exam has ended with success.

Military service performed between 1953-55 in the Professor. Dr. Bursal the military at the time of the last six months of the German professor at the Faculty of Economics Wolter'in courses have been translated. After military service in the Faculty of Economics, began working as a specialist. "Elements of Financing Costs considered as a tax on" Associate Professor Thesis presented in 1960. Dr. Bursal Nasuhi, the same year with success at the end of the exams was given the title of associate professor at the University.

Prof. Dr. Bursal Nasuhi in 1961 was appointed assistant professor positions. Go to the U.S. with a scholarship at the end of 1963 the Professor. Dr. Bursal Nasuhi, "Harvard Business School" and "International Teachers Program" was a part. Prof. Dr. Bursal Nasuhi, Faculty of Economics at the undergraduate and Ph.D. programs, "Cost Accounting", "General Accounting", "Control and Inspection" and "Business Account" has given various lectures. Institute for Business Economics in the same period, the "control" and private Galatasaray High School of Economics and Commerce "Cost Accounting" and "Accounting Organizations and Systems" was given lessons.
Founded in 1968 IU Professor of Business Administration, one of the seven founders. Dr. Bursal Nasuhi in 1969, was promoted to University Professor. Founded in 1968 IU Cost of Business Professor of Accounting Chair. Dr. Bursal Nasuhi, has continued this mission until 1981. Prof. fluent in English and German speaking. Dr. Bursal Nasuhi, between the years 1980-82 IU Served as Dean of the Faculty of Business. Many studies, reports and articles, Prof. Dr. Nasuhi BURSAL'ın was published in 1958, "Cost Accounting Principles - Implementation of the" work offline, the subject is one of the first publication. PROF. DR. NASUHİ BURSAL

Prof. Dr. Nasuhi BURSAL 28.01.1923 tarihinde İştanbul’da doğmuştur. 1942 yılında İstanbul Alman Lisesi’ni bitirdikten sonra 1944 yılında girdiği İ.Ü. İktisat Fakültesi'ni, 1948 yılında bitirmiştir. Aynı yıl Zürich Üniversitesi’ne giden Prof. Dr. BURSAL, Türkiye’deki Gelir Vergisi konusuna ilişkin olarak yaptığı doktora çalışmalarını, 1952 yılı sonunda verdiği doktora tezi ve sözlü sınavıyla başarı ile sona erdirmiştir.

1953-55 yılları arasında askerlik görevini yapan Prof. Dr. BURSAL, askerliğinin son altı ayında o zamanlar İktisat Fakültesi’nde bulunan Alman Profesör Wolter’in derslerini tercüme etmiştir. Askerlikten sonra İktisat Fakültesi’nde Uzman olarak göreve başlamıştır. “Vergilerin bir Maliyet Finansman Unsuru Olarak Mütalaası” konulu Doçentlik Tezini 1960 yılında takdim eden Prof. Dr. Nasuhi BURSAL, aynı yıl sonunda sınavlarını da başarı ile vererek Üniversite Doçenti unvanını almıştır.

Prof. Dr. Nasuhi BURSAL, 1961 yılında doçent kadrosuna atanmıştır. 1963 yılı sonunda bir bursla A.B.D.’ye giden Prof. Dr. Nasuhi BURSAL, “Harvard Business School”’da “International Teachers Program”a katılmıştır. Prof. Dr. Nasuhi BURSAL, İktisat Fakültesi Lisans ve Doktora programlarında “Maliyet Muhasebesi”, “Genel Muhasebe”, “Kontrol ve Revizyon” ve “Ticari Hesap” gibi çeşitli dersler vermiştir. Aynı dönemlerde İşletme İktisadı Enstitüsündeki “Kontrol” ve Özel Galatasaray Yüksek İktisat ve Ticaret Okulu’nda “Maliyet Muhasebesi” ve “Muhasebe Organizasyonu ve Sistemleri” derslerini vermiştir.
1968 yılında kurulan İ.Ü. İşletme Fakültesi’nin yedi kurucusundan biri olan Prof. Dr. Nasuhi BURSAL, 1969 yılında Üniversite Profesörlüğüne yükseltilmiştir. 1968 yılında kurulan İ.Ü. İşletme Fakültesi Maliyet Muhasebesi Kürsüsü Başkanı olan Prof. Dr. Nasuhi BURSAL, bu görevi 1981 yılına kadar sürdürmüştür. İyi derecede İngilizce ve Almanca bilen Prof. Dr. Nasuhi BURSAL, 1980-82 yılları arasında İ.Ü. İşletme Fakültesi Dekanlığı yapmıştır. Birçok çalışma, rapor ve makaleleri olan Prof. Dr. Nasuhi BURSAL’ın 1958 yılında yayımladığı “Maliyet Muhasebesi Prensipleri - Tatbikatı” isimli eseri, konusundaki ilk yayınlardan biridir. Prof. Dr. Nasuhi BURSAL emekli olduktan sonra öğretim üyeliğine A.B.D.’de devam etmiştir. Prof. Dr. Nasuhi BURSAL, 1997 yılında aramızdan ayrılmıştır.
