The organized strength of the Abadhuta Group was to a great extent dependent upon Nabin Sundar Subudhi's personal organizing capacity.He was a good organizer and an inflexible Marxist thinker. In the pename of 'AGRAGAMEE' he had written more than ten thought provoking essays on Marxism in 'Bela'.Nabin babu played a special role in inserting objective suggestions in the draft declaration of the Abadhut Group at the initial stages. He was one of the most important elements in the Abadhut thinktank.In order to publicize the views of the Abadhut Group periodical publications of LONG MARCH and JABAB were brought out.Much of the expenditure incurred for meeting of writers and poets at Kaliyugeswar Ashram, for press and organization was met by both Prasanna Patsani & Nabin Sundar Subudhi.

At that time the underground organization of CPI (ML) was starting to grow. New sparks of Revolution were coming out.Only Nabin Subudhi from among the Abadhut group members of Chilika Region kept direct contact with the underground organization.For that reasons his stand was uncompromising in the organizational sphere.The eyes of the police and intelligence people were always upon him. Nabin has undergone a lot of opressive torture and mental pressure during the emergency rule. Nabin Subudhi spent long eighteen months in Khurda Jail, arrested under MISSA during the emergency rule. Now he has adopted a vow silence. He considers vow of silence better than compromising including turning class collaborator. Nabin Babu will break his silence once the east turns red, the eastern wind takes the shape of storm and with it the waters of the Chilika become turbulent. Till then his left ideology would remain under wraps in the secret cells of his heart.
