Mortimer Leach

Mortimer Leach was a lettering specialist for twenty-five years. He worked on national accounts both in New York and in Los Angeles, and for twenty years maintained his own freelance studio. He was well known for his work in the advertising field, and won many awards for lettering. During the fifties, Mr. Leach became Director of the Lettering Department (covering all phases of lettering for advertising and industrial use) at Art Center School, Los Angeles. He was a member of the Art Directors Club of Los Angeles, and the National Society of Art Directors.
