Ernest Allyn Smith

Ernest Allyn Smith was a professor of sociology at Hunter College until his death on May 28,1977 in Bramhall, England.

Dr. Smith was born & raised in Palisades Park, NJ. He was a Conscientious Objector during WWII, and spent time in Danbury Prison with other conscientious objectors until 1945. Married Ruth MacAdam on New York City in 1945 and divorced in 1962.
