R. A. Hutchinson

Father R. A. Hutchinson is a secular priest of the diocese of San Diego. His background provides a clue to the dramatic and literary style of his first book, DIOCESAN PRIEST SAINTS.

He was born in Little Rock, lived for many years in Colorado, was a pilot in the U. S. Navy Air Corps; studied with the Jesuits in Kansas City, Denver, and at Marquette University. He taught English at Marquette and later at Regis in Denver. His easy flowing style and flair in choosing the most striking incidents in the lives of his subjects, and linking these to the fundamental sacerdotal virtues are tribute to his literary finesse and his profound ideals of the priesthood.

At present Father Hutchinson is busy with parochial work but finds time to devote to his gifted talent for writing.
