K. Byron McCoy

K. Byron McCoy was born in North Carolina where he went to law school and was a respected trial lawyer for a number of years before moving to Houston, Texas, where he became the Director of the Trial Advocacy Institute at the University of Houston Law Center. He was much beloved by the students there where he oversaw one of the premiere advoacy training programs in the world. A true renaissance man, he was an accomplished musician, singer, photographer and painter. His death in 1996 came much too soon.

Died September 16, 1996
