Anne Driscoll

Anne Driscoll started her career as a social worker counseling troubled girls before switching to journalism. An award-winning reporter, she has covered stories for People, Teen People, Health, Real Simple, CosmoGirl, the New York Times and she was a columnist for the Boston Globe. She was also a prized public relations executive at Teak Media Communications getting her clients into the Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Financial Times, Investor’s Daily, NPR Here and Now, New England Cable News, Fox News. In 1999 and 2000, she wrote a series of three guidebooks for young girls called Girl to Girl: The Real Deal on Being a Girl Today, Girl to Girl: Friends and You, and Girl to Girl: Sports and You. She also contributed to 101 Careers in Social Work, published by Springer Publishing Company in 2008 and to Women’s Health and Wellness 2005, published by Oxmoor House. She has presented her research to audiences in England, Ireland, Northern Ireland and the US and she is now a public speaker with the MasterMedia Speakers Bureau giving talks on the stories behind the stories she has covered for People Magazine.

In 2007, she founded Grace Communications, where she uses her background in journalism and her experience in human services as a state-licensed social worker to promote nonprofit organizations and socially minded organizations. Driscoll believes in making a difference in the world, one story at a time.
