Janos Békessy was better known under his pen name Hans Habe. He was born in Budapest. He was a journalist of international reputation and a well known best-selling author His work has been translated into many languages. During World War II he was an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army in command of Psychological Warfare operations on the Italian front.
