Xiang Jing, (b.1968)

Xiang Jing (born 1968 in Beijing, China) is a Chinese sculptor, who mostly creates fibreglass sculptures of women to express her investigation of the ‘internality’ of human nature. Her representations of nude women which show the imperfect nature and realness of women.

She graduated from the Department of Sculpture of China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in Beijing in 1995, winning first prize in her graduation show. She taught at Shanghai Normal University, 1997 until she returned to Beijing in 2009.
