Smita Nair Jain

Smita Nair Jain (born November 20, 1969) is an Indian businesswoman, corporate leader, actress, TEDx Speaker and writer. Born in Delhi and brought up in Pune and Mumbai.

She is an alumnus from the Savitribai Phule Pune University where she completed her undergraduate degree and her Master of Business Administration in 1994.

Having worked with numerous global organisations such as Prudential, Accenture, Capita, Barclays and Sears, Ms. Smita Nair Jain has been in National and global leadership roles. She has worked with and managed large teams across UK, Continental Europe, North America and Asia and was also awarded the LinkedIn Power Profile for the years 2015 & 2017. She is also a member of the Indian Institute of Directors and has significant board experience. With her significant and broad corporate journey, she is also a popular speaker amongst leading business schools in India and at global academia related events and has something exceptional by way of skill to bring to a varied audience. She is also a member of the Leaders Excellence at Harvard Square.

Smita worked for Accenture in their Delhi office as an investment banker for nearly a decade and wrote "Kkrishnaa's Konfessions" (2008) and Piggies on The Railway:a Kasthuri Kumar Mystery (2010) while in Delhi. She then moved to Mumbai to focus full-time on her writing career while working at Capita.
