Manuel Álvarez Tardío (Madrid, 1972) es un historiador y politólogo español, catedrático de Historia del Pensamiento y de los Movimientos Sociales y Políticos en la Facultad de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid. Es autor de estudios sobre el anticlericalismo, la Segunda República Española y la transición democrática en España.
