Victor Roncea is a Romanian journalist. He started working in the media at "Romania Libera" ("Free Romania") daily, right after the 1989 anticommunist uprising who brought the fall of the Ceausescu's regime. Since then, he worked for "Romania Libera" as a foreign correspondent in the United States, for ZIUA ("The Day") national daily newspaper as Chief Editor of the Foreign Desk and as deputy Editor in Chief for "Curentul" ("The Current"). He wrote several books mostly on recent history, politics and journalism matters. He is a member of International Federation of Journalism and of other national and international professional organizations. His personal blog is Roncea.Ro.
