Born in England, Anthea was educated there and in Switzerland. Later travels took her to stints in such diverse locations as Bangkok, Beirut, Brussels and Berlin. After coming to the United States and marrying an American, she has been active in the travel and hospitality fields, and as a violinist in amateur chamber music groups and community syphony orchestras. Henrietta, World War II Hen, and Roger the Rooster Leaps to the Rescue, are her first ventures into writing and illustrating children's books.
