Elinor Ostrom

Elinor Ostrom obtuvo el Premio Nobel de Economía en 2009 y fue Arthur F. Bentley Professor de Ciencias Políticas y Senior Research Director del Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis en la Universidad de Indiana, así como fundadora y directora del Center for the Study of Institutional Diversity en la Universidad de Arizona. Entre sus innumerables publicaciones destacan Governing the commons: The evolution of institutions for collective action (1990); Institutional incentives and sustainable development: infrastructure policies in perspective (con L. Schroeder y S. Wynne, 1993); y Understanding institutional diversity (2005).
