Jacques Marie de Mahieu
(en Argentina más conocido como Jaime María De Mahieu)

(Paris, Francia 5/X/1915 † Buenos Aires, Argentina 1990)

Filósofo, sociólogo y antropólogo.

Terminada la Segunda Guerra Mundial emigró fue a Argentina y obtuvo esa ciudadanía.

Luego de naturalizado argentino, se convirtió durante los años 60 uno de los ideólogos del movimiento Peronista y mentor de muchos de los jóvenes militantes del Movimiento Nacionalista Tacuara, de corte católico derechista.

En sus estudios antropológicos, políticos, económicos y sociológicos mezcló ideas aristocráticas, racistas y nacionalistas en lo político-antropológico, con un anticapitalismo de tendencia socializante en lo económico. Ejerció la docencia en la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo.

De Mahieu desarrolló un proyecto de economía comunitaria (sobre el cual luego teorizara en su obra "El Estado Comunitario" de 1964) en la región de Cuyo, Argentina durante el gobierno de Perón. El advenimiento de la "Revolución Libertadora", que derrocara al legítimo régimen peronista en 1955, hizo que el mismo fuera desarticulado por ser considerado una práctica comunista.
