This copy does not contain the sermon "The happiness of a people", Boston, 1676, which is usually found appended to this work.
Presumably a second issue of the 1st edition, the errata on p. 88 occupying 12 lines, whereas some copies have only 10 lines.
A later edition printed at London in the same year, and licensed "June 27, 1677", has title: The present state of New England. Being a narrative of the troubles with the Indians.
An abridged edition was issued at Boston in 1775, from which several later editions were copied.
