Concerning the election in 1795 for seats in the Georgia General Assembly after the previous Assembly had passed the Yazoo law. U.S. Senator James Jackson resigned his senate seat to run for the state legislature and oppose the Yazoo law. Cf. Evans 29644 and 29645.
