A type facsimile of the proof sheets of part of Coleridge's Poems (1796-1797) interleaved with type facsimile of MS. of portions of the text. Also included are type facsimiles of the following poems: "Ode to the departing year", "The dark ladie", and an early version of "Lewti".
Prepared by James Dykes Campbell "for private circulation" ca. 1896. Issued in 1899 (London, Constable) with pref. and notes by William Hale White with title Coleridge's poems; a facsimile reproduction of the proofs and MSS.
A.L.S. from James Dykes Campbell to J.G. Lewis May 6, 1892, with transcription, and A.L.S. from Richard Garnett to Lewis (?) July 24, 1897, included in pocket, at end.
