Textually identical, excepting enumeration, first paragraph, and closing quotation, with Centinel, No. I (Bristol B6461). For a discussion of the Centinel papers and attribution to Samuel Bryan, cf. Konkle, Burton Alva. George Bryan and the Constitution of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, 1922, p. 308-319.
Evans, who does not locate a copy, supplies imprint: Philadelphia: Printed by Francis Bailey, 1787. However, Konkle states that only Centinel No. II was published by Bailey while all others were printed by Eleazer Oswald.
