Edition Notes

"Compiled and edited by ... J. Dykes Campbell. From April 1860 to the summer of 1862 Mr. Campbell resided in Canada ... During his stay in Toronto he caused the book to be privately printed at his own cost. The work was done at the printing-house of Messrs. W.C. Chewitt [sic.] & Co. of the that city. A few copies - Mr. Campbell informed the writer the the number was about fifty - were brought by him to London. Some of these came into the possession of Mr. John Camden Hotten." -- Wise, v. 2, p. 7.

Thomson, Bibliography of ... Tennyson, p. 15, 36.
