He had been an active student leader at the University of Nairobi, a bedrock of opposition politics in those dark days for democracy in Kenya. Miguna is now back in Kenya, recognised as a leading political pundit. He has just lost his his job as Advisor to the Prime Minister on Coalitionm Affrairs, due to the abrasive style of the articles he penned inthe Kenyan media about topical issues.
