The way the journey is portrayed, you know it is from someone who has walked it, not from someone commenting from the sidelines. You experience the author living through sequences of events not unlike those that challenge you; and growing through them. Gregoire Joseph.

Some of the messages in this book, the author says, emanated from her with a rhythm she has come to call poetry. Some parts are straight narration. As you read the verses in the first part you feel the same powerful vibrations that you experience as the author shares intimately about her journey along this path of consciousness raising. This book is about the spiritual transformation of an ordinary life.

First Sentence
"Christened a Roman Catholic, from age five, I was nurtured in a fundamental Seventh-day Adventist home, and through the religious teachings of this group, sought certainty in my living. From early childhood my mind tussled with the concept of a heaven for the good, and a raging fire for the bad."

Edition Notes
The inner conflict of one searching for the attainment of something to satisfy an inner hunger, is what this volume is about. The author refers to her experiences up to that stage where she was when she penned words of this book, as her Gethsemane, and her Wilderness experience. "There was a yearning in the depths of my soul that made trivia of academia... As I pleaded for guidance to live this life as fully as it was meant to be lived, I started noticing serendipitous events throughout my experiences. ...When I saw the Power of God working so intimately with me, I kept hugging the Presence. I have come to realize that when we hunger after right living we become filled. But the filling comes with a reshaping of consciousness."
