In instances where the first Imagines has been attributed to Philostratus the Athenian, the second Imagines is attributed to Philostratus the Lemnian. In instances where the first Imagines has been attributed to Philostratus the Lemnian, the second work is attributed to another Philostratus, b. ca. 220.
