Author's dedicatory letter dated October 1st, 1774 (p. [iii]-iv) is probably the dedication to the first edition, London, 1775. Cf. Watt's Bibl. brit., 1824, and Gentleman's magazine, v. 45, 1775.

With autographs throughout of several Brosnahan family members; also autograph of Edmond Hassett of Fox Hall.

Pages 1-2 wanting in Burns copy.
