An edition of Estridentópolis (2006)

Estridentópolis

urbanización y montaje

Study of the group of young artists and writers in the 1920s that began theconstruction of a literary city, Estridentópolis. Manifestos, articles, books, exhibitions, magazines and public scandals were material for the construction. The study relates to the urbanaspects of the movement (Estridentismo) and how urban modernization can be seen through theartistic and literary experiences. The movement took it's inspiration from the concurrent Italianfuturist movment. Very good biographical information on the participants.
