"'This tract, which is in verse, is supposed to have been written by Jefferson.' Manuscript note in J.B. Chandler's copy."--Sabin. A Tory satire on the Continental Congress, the Dialogue is not likely to have been written by Jefferson.

The Library of Congress suggests James Rivington of New York as possible printer.
