This work is not dated. Two editions of it are known to have been published, in 1857 and 1866, with the 1866 edition lacking the initial "The" in the title. The 1857 edition has the following physical description: xii, 208 p., [44] leaves of plates : col. ill. ; 16 cm. Cf. NUC pre-56. The exact relationship between the two publications cannot be determined
