The Bäuerliche Erbhofrecht mentioned in the edition statement was valid only in Prussia, whereas the law commented on here established for the first time a single, uniform law for the whole of Germany.
Includes running text of the law (p. 9-22) as well as law text with commentary, section by section (p. 23-92). The text of the administrative regulations is present only in connection with the commentary on it (p. 93-134). At end (p. 145-146) is text of the Preussisches Ausführungsgesetz, without commentary.
