Preliminary lithographed plate showing a plan of the "Greek Court" with imprints: "Published for the Crystal Palace Library by Bradbury & Evans, [11] Bouverie St." and "MacLure & Co. Lith. to the Queen".

Plate with additional imprint: "[Erect]ed by Owen Jones".

Most wood-engraved illustrations within the text are signed: "GS".

Two wood-engraved illustrations were also used in handbook no. 1 in this series: "Guide to the Crystal Palace and park". Series title and numbering taken from publisher's advertisements in Massey Library copy of this handbook. See McLean D 0292.

MASS copy: Bound in blue cord-grain cloth blocked in blind with the spine blocked in gold; a.e. speckled red. Upper cover blocked in blind with the same monogrammatic device as printed on t.p. Spine title blocked in gold: "The statuary of the Crystal Palace 3/6". Bound with numbers 4, 12 and 15 in this series (McLean D 0303 - McLean D O305). With ownership inscription: "Jane A. [Waller?].".
