ESTC2196S2; Macdonald 39, under'Lines on Tonson', with note: 'Three lines written by Dryden on Tonson during one of their periodical squabbles are introduced on p. 15. Tonson, Secretary of the Kit-Cat Club was, of course, a Whig'.
