Records the rural origins of the Borough of Lewisham from the ancient villages of Lewisham (Anglo Saxon term "Leofsunu(s)ham) meaning "the Dear son's home" also the birth in 1824 of Trinity Congregational Church, Catford. Famous minister's son John Williams' (Minister Rev Samuel Tamatoa Williams)the John Williams VI launched by Priness Margaret 5/8/1948 was The Children's Ship of the London Missionary Society.
