Literary bulletins sent to the Duke of Saxe-Gotha and others. Includes the correspondence by the Abbé Raynal, 1747-55, continued by that of Grimm, 1753-1770. Grimm's secretary, Meister, is authority for the statement that the correspondence from 1770 to 1773 was mainly by Diderot, and the remainder by himself, with the collaboration of Mme. d'Epinay and others. cf. v. 2, p. 230-235.
