One of the sources for the account of the interview with the King that appears in James Boswell's Life of Samuel Johnson (1791); it may be based on a letter from William Strahan, Johnson's printer and friend, to William Warburton, Bishop of Gloucester.

Includes the account of the interview excerpted from Boswell's Life of Samuel Johnson.
