MASS copy: Bound in beige paper-covered boards printed in black. Upper cover printed with titling and wood-engraved illustration replicated from the text. Lower cover printed with advertisements for works published by Thomas Tegg. Spine re-backed. With ownership inscriptions in the same hand: "Georgiana Crabb", "Elinor G. Jardine 1853?" and "Helen Frances Ellis 1915". With ownership inscription: "G. H. Ellis Esq.". With ownership inscription dated 1957: "Fianach Jardine.". Lacking p. 203-232 and p. 243-254. Lacking plate.
