Edition Notes
At head of title: Saecula V-VI. Anni 491-520.
In double columns.
De Spiritu Sancto (col. 9-40) cannot be identified as the lost work of that title of Paschasius to whom it is here attributed. It was probably written by St. Faustus, Bp. of Riez. cf. Bardenhewer, Otto. Geschichte der altkirchlichen Literatur. 2. Aufl. v. 4 (1924) p. 584-585.
Of the letters here attributed to Pope Symmachus, Epistola IV (olim XII) ad Avitum episcopum viennensem (col. 51-52) is a forgery by Jérôme Vignier. cf. Bardenhewer, ibid., v. 5 (1932) p. 279.
Petri Diaconi et aliorum ... De incarnatione et gratia d.n. J.C. ad Fulgentium ... liber (col. 83-92) is also printed in v. 65, col. 442-451, of this series among the letters of St. Fulgentius, Bp. of Ruspa.
