An edition of The company girls (1965)

The company girls

Three women working for a hotel chain vie to become the head of the operation when their boss is sent overseas for a few weeks.

Doris is a spinster whose only companion is a dog. Wilma, a former stripper, was abandoned by her mother when younger. Finally, we meet Vivian, the married one of the bunch and also one of the most ruthless.

Which, if any, will get the job?

(Note: McGinnis cover aside, this is not an ‘orgy during business hours’ novel, nor outside them for that matter.)
