"Composed in 12-point Palatino roman and printed ... on Rives paper by David Pankow and Jerry Kelly. Duotone reproductions by the Stinehour Press ... Most of the illustrations of August Rosenberger's work were printed directly from his original metal engravings"--Colophon.

Limited edition of 120 copies (cf. Colophon).

"The regular edition of 75 copies is accompanied by four original leaves with August Rosenberger engravings: two are from the Japanese paper edition of Feder und Stichel, printed in 1949 by Heinrich Egneolf in Frankfurt; the other two leaves are from Das Blumen-ABC, printed by Otto Bickelhaupt at the private printing office of the Stempel foundry in 1949"--Colophon.

"The special edition (numbered 1-35) is accompanied by signed prints from Feder und Stichel and a special print of the alphabet for the endpapers of "Das Blumen-ABC" printed in black by Heinrich Egenolf"--Colophon.

Special edition: blue cloth boards, with title stamped in gold on blue leather spine label; issued in slipcase.

Library's copy is no. 34 of the special edition, signed by the author.
