Book Details

Edition Notes

Includes, typographically distinguished, the texts of the 88 rules formulated at end of title 12 of book 5 of Liber sextus decretalium; Dinus' commentary is printed in a column of varying width and length, to accomodate the apparatus of additions and other notes that flanks or surrounds it.

Wording of the title is identical with that used in the edition printed in Pavia by Bernardino Garaldi ("de Geraldis") in 1518; also with the framed title on the 1530 Lyon edition by J. Giunta.

T.p. in black and red. It includes a woodcut coat of arms in a crown of roses and below it, in a small square, Sts. Peter and Paul holding cloth with Holy Face (device of Simon Vincent ?)

Signatures: a-s⁸ (LC copy wants s8, blank?)

Includes, leaves cxxiv-cxxvi, two consilia by Nicolas de Bohier (followed by index).
