This is a bimonthly Pdf-format publication in the Dawan language (Uab Meto or Baikenu, a Timorese major language spoken in the Indonesian West Timor and the East Timor’s enclave of Oecusse-Ambeno) initiated by Yohanes Manhitu, Dawan native speaker and writer in the language (author of the anthology of Dawan poetry Nenomatne Nbolen), and owner of the Dawan blog http://uabmeto.blogspot.com and the ‘extinct’ website http://www.uabmeto.cjb.net. This self-initiated publication which is distributed by e-mail and can be downloaded for free since today (9 June 2010) covers language and cultural issues, especially those of the Dawan people (the Atoni Pah Metô).
