The Kid's Guide to Home Video

This is a children's educational book describing various aspects of Home Video, detailing the history of television form the early television sets in the 1940's through to the latest video technology, and television shows up until 1984. There are sections on things such as a Video Cassette Recorder {VCR}, and its VHS {Video Home System} tapes, CED {Capacitance Electronic Disc}, LaserDisc, and television broadcasting. There are reviews of shows shuch as Mr. Wizards World, You Can't Do That On Television, as well as explanations of how video games, and other compounuts can be attached to a telesvision. There is descriptions on video cameras, music videos, and various television screen formats, such as rear projection television, and portable televisions. The LaserDisc game Dragon's Lair, and early Full Motion Video (FMV) games such as the Vidmax, MysteryDisc are also described. There are various grey scale photographs of the subjects discussed.
