Three pieces from Stone flower (Children's games, Amparo, God and the devil) are selections from Jobim's compositions for the 1970 Harold Robbins motion picture, The Adventurers.
Chiefly English words in vocal selections (Wave; Triste; Waters of March; Sabia'); one selection has Portuguese words only (Lamento); one selection includes Portuguese as text at end (Triste).
