Cindy Makey and Bryce Poole are hiking in the woods surrounding Spooksville when they are attacked by a blob-like creature. They try to fight it off but it grabs Bryce and seems to devour him before Cindy's eyes. Cindy manages to get away and warn the rest of the gang, but no sooner are they on their way to destroy the monster when Bryce appears. At first he acts normal, but pretty soon his friends realize that the Bryce who has returned is not human at all. He is just another form of the monster, and he is anxious to devour more of them!
